Five week course with Lindsey Rae

Have you been interested in making your own clothes, but don’t know where to start?  Lindsey Rae of Sew to Grow, is passionate about inspiring and building confidence with sewers from all over the world.  She has designed this course for beginners to dressmakers who want to brush up on their basic skills.  This course runs over 5 consecutive Tuesday nights with over 12 hours of tuition from the delightful Lindsey.

Learn basic dressmaking skills including, how to read a pattern, measuring yourself and grading between sizes, making adjustments eg. bust, sway back, sewing mock ups and making fitting adjustments plus much much more.

If you have already had a fabulous time doing Basic Dressmaking 101 with Lindsey and would like to continue the fun…. you can still book in to our 101 course.  Tackle a more challenging pattern using the techniques learnt from your first course with the help from Lindsey as you continue to develop and grow your dressmaking skills.
