Thimtec Thimble Tape | Neon Flamingo | Single Roll
Finding the perfect thimble for your needlework and fiber arts can be challenging, but it’s crucial for protecting your fingers and enhancing your crafting experience. While traditional metal or leather thimbles have their merits, Thimtec Thimble Tape™ offers a superior solution for many artisans. This innovative product adheres directly to your fingertip, providing a custom fit that moves naturally with your hand. Unlike rigid thimbles, Thimtec Tape™ doesn’t impede dexterity or sensation, allowing you to maintain full control and feel of your needle. It’s particularly effective for those who find conventional thimbles uncomfortable or ill-fitting. The tape’s durability ensures long-lasting protection, while its low profile makes it ideal for delicate work. Whether you’re quilting, embroidering, or engaging in any needle craft, Thimtec Thimble Tape™ offers unparalleled comfort and precision, making it the top choice for discerning fiber artists.
How to use Thimtec Thimble Tape:
1: Unroll at least 10-12” of tape off of your roll (You can always use more for thicker fabrics or needles and size of your finger and nail).
3: After you have cut/torn off your piece of tape, don’t forget to fold the edge of the tape roll back so that the edge doesn’t stick back to the roll.
Get all the protection you need without cutting off your circulation. After you wrap, squeeze tape around your finger to mold to your finger and nail. Always feel free to add more tape on to a wrapped finger for tougher projects i.e. needle felting, mending leather/denim. Thimtec sticks to itself but not to you!
Since Thimtec is moldable, you can remove your molded finger wrappings if you are taking a break and place it back on your finger when you are ready to stitch again!
*We recommend using a fresh tape usually 1-2 days later.
