Designed by Helen Stubbings of Hugs ‘n Kisses, the Mary Mary Block of the Month Quilt brings together embroidery, appliqué, and gentle machine piecing using her signature Easy APP turned-edge appliqué method. This quilt features Helen’s newest fabric collection, Molly & May, created with Two Green Zebras under the Devonstone Collection brand.

A. The Mary Mary BOM will begin 16th May 2026.

A. 73” x 73” (approx. 183cm x 183cm).

Q. How many installments will the Quilt pattern be broken down to?
A. The Mary Mary BOM pattern will be delivered complete. The pattern will be broken into a General Instructions booklet and 6-10 monthly full sized layout guides and instructions.

Q. What techniques are used in the Mary Mary quilt?
A. The Mary Mary quilt uses embroidery, appliqué, and machine piecing. Helen uses her EasyAPP method throughout with custom iron-on leave-in paper templates that can be stitched by hand or machine.

Q. Is there hand embroidery on the quilt?
A. Yes, there are 16 simple stitchery blocks on the Molly and May stitchery panel. Only 8 are required for the quilt.

Q. Which Cosmo embroidery threads are required for the Mary Mary Quilt?
A. The Mary Mary quilt uses Cosmo Stranded Embroidery Floss in the following colours: 104, 106, 474, 923, 924, 980, 981, 1105 and 2041.
