Parterre Pattern by Thimbles and Needles
This quilt has a classic, vintage feel about it. The sample quilt shown uses a combination of Liberty of London fabrics with wovens/checks. The quilt can of course be made with any array of fabrics.

The sample quilt shown is 68″ x 80″.
Instructions are written for machine piecing but can be handpieced if preferred.
When I was thinking of a name for this pattern, some people suggested that it reminded them of garden paths and that made me think of the formal garden design of ‘parterre’ so that became the name of the quilt.
