Description
Piping Hot Binding and Tool
To create a perfect seam allowance on piping, simply lay the tool over sewn piping with the cording in the groove then cut along the tool’s edge with a rotary cutter. Voila … a perfect seam allowance. The tool is 11.5″ in length so you’re able to trim 400″ of piping in about 20 minutes! Two grooves are available, offering 1/4″ and 1/2″ seam allowances.
- Use with cording up to 1/8″ in diameter. Turn the ruler for use left-handed.
- Use any size rotary cutter: 28mm, 45m or 60mm. (Rotary cutter is not included.)
- Manufactured in the USA
To trim piping with larger cording, use the Groovin’ Piping Trimming Tool GRANDE with deeper, wider grooves to accommodate cording up to 1/4″ in diameter.
Booklet
Sixteen pages of instructions cover every detail of adding amazing, piped bindings to quilts.
Cording
5yds of 1/16″ piping cording are included in this package. This is the cording Susan K Cleveland uses in her quilts. It’s large enough to make piping that gets noticed but small enough to avoid bulk at a quilt’s corners.
