Stitch combinations can be created, adjusted and saved in the machine’s memory.

Quilting Features

The BERNINA 495 Liberty Edition is well suited to quilting, with dedicated quilting stitches and features designed to make quilting easier.

The BERNINA Stitch Regulator (BSR) functionality supports free-motion quilting with straight stitch and zigzag stitching. The BSR foot is optional.

The BERNINA Free Hand System allows you to raise and lower the presser foot using the knee lifter, keeping both hands free to guide your fabric.

The machine also includes a slide-on free-arm extension table for additional workspace.

Automatic Buttonholes

The BERNINA 495 Liberty Edition includes an automatic buttonhole function with automatic buttonhole length measurement.
