A 3 hour workshop combining three tactile, analogue mediums to craft a layered, heirloom quality paper bookmark:

Where vintage keys, fluid colour, and slow stitches meet.

Join us for an intimate, deeply tactile workshop celebrating three classic mediums. We’ll slow down and guide you through a multi-layered creative journey, crafting your own heirloom-quality paper bookmark to keep or gift.

• The Strike: Start by selecting a favourite quote, literary line, or personal mantra, and typing it onto watercolour paper using a restored mid-century typewriter.
• The Splash: Paint a soft, expressive watercolour gum leaf design over and around your typed words.
• The Stitch: Add delicate hand-stitched details such as embroidery floss accents, stems, beads or border frames directly into the paper to bring your piece to life with physical texture.
• Experience Level: No prior typing, painting, or sewing experience needed! We will pre-punch guide holes to make the stitching smooth and effortless.
• What’s Included: Full access to vintage typewriters, water colour paper, paints, embroidery floss, and washi tape to cover your stitches.
• BYO: any small beads you have + a sense of creative adventure!
